The spark live is a mid sized medium weight pa amp with vocal effects and full guitar effects and amp models. This amp is loud and lovely bottom end! Estimate 140w The amp also detects if its sideways and puts out sound in a wide stereo mode which is great for shows and if you use the back stand and till back standing up switches to a nice mono monitor mode for the stage on festivals!
Plenty of inputs with effects in channel one and two and a spare stereo input and the bluetooth audio in is bullet proof. The guitar and music can be controlled easily during songs from the front control knobs but the mic is on the back but not something i need to turn up once set or you can easily use the mixer on the application which gives you full control of every channel level which is handy.
The mic has a great mic preamp and great compression control plus a range of delays and vocals which can run individual or simultaneously. I also have four amp models a general clean channel and a lovely clean amp with chorus and a flat acoustic amp and a driven up dirty channel which is great for shredding away! This all is controlled by the spark controller
This switches in the presets or stomp boxes and its compact and solid and has two extra trs inputs for switch or expression pedals. The problem is this is not editable so i can’t configure buttons to pedals to a update comes to spark in july! Proper nightmare so im getting by with it at the moment which is giving me time to set the sounds i need. The first thing you have to do when unboxing is update the firmware which has to be done from a mac or pc and its dead simple. I also bought the extra battery which should give around & hours on battery which ive not used yet but its handy when im setting down i can disconnect all cables and lift of the stand while it still playing music!
The amp was from thomann and got it delivered fast along with the control and battery. Positive grid doesnt have a case yet so i got one from best amp covers so it doesnt get scratched and found it easier to carry. Im finding it great to use and rapid setup time! More to come….

But releasing before you can edit spark control pedals is like its in beta mode!
Ive paid for the hendrix fx pedal pack for the wah and the dod wah.. but it wont work till i can assign the buttons!! So its sat on a shelf till july sometime…..
