Just pulled the beta 3.0 install for ubuntu / debian – installed no problem.
Started up the application and told picasa the location of my pictures which it added them into the app for me. The next part is the best part – I enter my google account details and selected which albums i want to sync to my 1 gig online storage and selected the folders i wanted public viewing. Picasa uploaded all my pics to the online google storage so i have now got a nice back up of my photo collection! Well the app works on mac and doze so give it a shot!!!
Nice and easy to use – the gui looks a bit windowish didnt have the better look of kde – but the features are great – Again google is going to take over – its happening right under your nose!…..
