this sucks asss but this is the way to do it!
1. Right-click on ‘Computer’ on the Start Menu and select Properties.2. On the left-hand side of the screen press the ‘Advanced System Settings’ link.3. Select the ‘Remote’ tab.4. At the bottom of this screen, press the ‘Select Users’ button.5. The list will most probably be empty.6. Add the user that you wish to grant logon access via Remote Desktop.Now that step is complete we need to grant the user ‘Allow Logon Through Terminal Services’ right via Group Policy.1. Load ‘Group Policy Management’ from ‘Administration Tools’ on the Start Menu.2. From the left-hand tree, expand the option ‘Group Policy Objects’.3. Select ‘Default Domain Controllers Policy’, right-click it and go to ‘Edit’.4. Under ‘Computer Settings’ expand ‘Policies’ > ‘Windows Settings’ > ‘Security Settings’ > ‘Local Policies’ > ‘User Rights Assignment’5. Select ‘User Rights Assignment’ to show the settings in the right-hand pane.6. Find the setting ‘Allow Logon Through Terminal Services’. Double-click it.7. Select ‘Define these policy settings’ then press the ‘Add User or Group’ button.8. MAKE SURE YOU ADD THE Domain Admins GROUP TO THE LIST OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE LOCKED OUT OF YOUR SERVER!9. Then add the user that you wish to grant access to.10. From the Start Menu run gpupdate /force
