My latest addition to my cooking appliance family is my Russell Hobbs 3 in one. I needed a bigger slow cooker for slow cooking legs of Lamb which I did on my first use of the machine!
Which just fitted in perfectly. To trigger the machine was easy couple of buttons and the display shows a nice count down counter and we will see the result in 8 hours.
I also go the machine to sous vide. I already have a Anova which is amazing which I plan to keep cooking my meat and this new machine for cooking vegetables at the same time. I prefer the swirling water feature on the meat at the lower temperatures and think that the Anova is best for this but this would be great for sous vide for most food but I’m going to use it as a high temperature sous vide to cook at 185 degrees so don’t think si much of the swirling is required that will be my next test this week.
This machine has a temperature probe which you can insert through the top of the unit which has a great sealing function for precise temperature cooking which I’ll be giving a whirl as well!
This machine I got on a offer at 80 euro but I’d say it’s well worth the 100 euro it’s fully priced at on Amazon. The build and the features are outstanding i looked on the UK Amazon and this can set you back 200 pounds!!!! I’d highly recommended snapping one up I think the price will shoot up in Spain.
